Ballad Albums
My newest album, Everything That's In My Heart has been in the making for almost two years. All of the songs on this CD with the exception of Only One Life to Live and Never Forgotten, were written during February 2007 through September of 2008. The other 2 were written in 2001 for my parents.
My music comes from a "life-lived" perspective. The title track, Everything That's In My Heart really sums up most of the songs that I eventually compose and record. I use my own life's experiences as an inspiration for the songs that I write.
Whether these experiences happen directly to me or I am in some way indirectly affected, either way it seems to work for me when it comes to penning a new ballad. The music has a general feeling of emotions over a lost love, the appreciation of friends and family and the deep spiritual commitment that we as a people should have towards our Creator God.
